Refund & Cancellation Policy

Gaffer is a subscription service run by Craicked LLC. This policy explains how to cancel, what happens when you do, and when we give money back. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Free Trial

• A new account starts with a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan. Each account gets one trial.
• A payment card is required to start the trial. We don’t charge it during the trial.
• When the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically. We charge $9.99 USD per seat for the first month, then again each month until you cancel.
• Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

Cancelling

• Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing, or email support@teamgaffer.com and we’ll cancel it for you.
• Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you keep full access until then. After that we stop billing you.
• Changed your mind? Resume the subscription in Settings → Billing before the period ends and nothing changes.
• To have your workspace and its data deleted once you’ve cancelled, email us. Our Privacy Policy explains what we delete and when.

Refunds

• Payments are non-refundable. We don’t refund or credit partial months, unused seats, or a plan you move down from.
• If we charged you in error, for example twice for the same period or after you cancelled, email support@teamgaffer.com within 60 days of the charge and we’ll refund it in full.
• If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, that right applies whatever this policy says.

Changing Seats or Plans

• Adding seats, or moving from Starter to a larger plan, takes effect right away. We charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current period.
• Removing seats, or moving to a smaller plan, takes effect at the start of your next period, so you keep what you’ve paid for until then.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we tell you by email and in the app while our payment processor, Stripe, retries your card. If the payment still can’t be collected, your account becomes read-only until the balance is paid. Update your card in Settings → Billing to restore full access.

Delivery

Gaffer is software delivered online. Your account is ready as soon as you sign up, and nothing is shipped.

What You Need

Gaffer works with GitHub repositories, and runs AI coding agents through Claude Code or Codex on computers you provide. You need your own GitHub account and your own Claude Code or Codex account. Their costs aren’t included in Gaffer’s price.
